Jamin An first joined Sustained Dialogue as a dialogue participant in his first year at the University of Virginia. He later became a Dialogue Moderator and Chair of UVA’s SD program. Since 2009, as a Sustained Dialogue associate, Jamin has facilitated SD workshops across the country serving new undergraduate moderators, campus student leaders, and administrators. He completed his doctorate in Art History at the University of California, Los Angeles. Jamin has held curatorial and research positions at various museums including Glenstone, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, and the MIT List Visual Arts Center. He is Assistant Professor and Deedie Potter Rose Chair of Contemporary Art History at Texas Christian University.
