Sustained Dialogue Academy teaches leadership skills to bridge divides.
Much of the work of the teaching and training of SD takes place on college campuses. But this potentially excludes those who are past the standard university-age cohort, or who are not at college. The Sustained Dialogue Academy is an initiative to include all.
Open to all outside of higher education, it takes the form of stand-alone SD curriculum, based both at the SDI offices on Capitol Hill and at other selected sites around the nation and world. It may include both in-person and online training modules. It will be open to individuals, who may seek these skills for their workplace, non-profit or even personal vocation. Enrollment will not require any campus affiliation, though SDI is considering accreditation from an educational institution. Graduates will receive certification in the values and practice of Sustained Dialogue.
