The Sustained Dialogue Institute is thrilled to announce that Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi will join us at the 2017 National Dialogue Awards on November 16, 2017. Representative Pelosi serves as the House Democratic Leader of the US House of Representatives and represents California’s 12th Congressional District. She previously served as the 52nd House Speaker from 2007 to 2011, the only woman to do so. As Speaker, she attained the highest rank of any female politician in American history.
Representative Pelosi will attend alongside Gabby Giffords, who will be honored at the National Dialogue Awards evening. Pelosi previously honored Giffords with a floor speech when Giffords returned to the House. Pelosi will present Giffords with her award at the National Dialogue Awards.
